The Shibby Sheet.
Well welcome to the regular Shibby Sheet, last weeks one was
a one of serious one, don’t worry, I don’t do it often, when ever I’m
serious people laugh at me! Bless, anyway this weeks shibby sheet is brought
to you with class, as I am doing it on a lap top!!! Very swish! It’s black
you see! And what does black remind you of!!! That’s right! RHYNO! He wears
black!, but sadly he still is not back, tut tut, I’m sure his return is just
around the corner, but I want my Cheese Steak! And this week, my cheese
steak is called Rhyno!! God bless Rhyno! As LG Hooker said, lets all light a
candle for Rhyno and pray for his good health and that he will return ASAP!
WE WANT RHYNO!!!!, yes, I think myself, Arnie & LG should start a nice
religious Rhyno group called RWLUTTLOFFYNM!, (Rhyno Will Lead Us To The
Light Of Freedom From Young Nasty Man) or Reacon for short, oh yes that
would be interesting!
Anyway, Enough of my religious Rhyno cult, onto the Shibby
Sheet.
The APA Return :
Oh yes, when I heard this news I was most excited, so excited
I even yelled at my mum, “MUM THE APA ARE COMING BACK!” and all she replied
was, “That’s nice dear, stick the kettle on” Pff, mothers.
Anyway, she may not be as excited as me about the reformation
of one of the most popular tag teams in the WWE in recent memory, but the
APA’s return is a good thing!
The APA, Ron Simmons & Bradshaw, where never the best
wrestlers around in the WWE as the APA, but that wasn’t what got them over,
that’s not the reason I liked them, there backstage skits playing cards,
drinking beer, just plain funny sayings they kept coming out with.
Also I did like there brawling style in the ring, Bradshaw's
Powerbomb's, Clothesline from Hell, Fallaway slam, three of my favourite
moves. Ron Simmons and his Dominator, Power Slam and of cause his Shibby
Sweet Spinebuster! All great moves! Oh and Ron’s voice sounds so uncanny to
the legendary teddy bear look alike actor James Earl Jones! (he turned into
a big snake in one of his films you know! A Conan one it was, class actor is
Mr Earl)
So when Bradshaw’s return to the WWE is set, around
wrestlemania time they say, Ron will join him in his return for a last run
of the APA! Also a fitting end to a career of one of the all time great's of
the wrestling ring Ron Simmons also IMO.
So if you are holding a Bud right now (Or in my case a
Smirnoff Ice, don’t like beer, taste and looks like piss) Toast to the
return of the Awesome APA! And let their return be more Shibby than that
Legion of Doom 2000 return! Oh dear, that was bad!
The Sandman Returns! :
Well my column is usually dedicated to just the WWE as I
don’t watch any other Fed’s now, WCW has gone and so has ECW sadly, and in
the UK we don’t get NWA-TNA, but I do like watching my ECW DVD’s and one
wrestler in particular!
THE SANDMAN!
Again, as most people will know, I have the weirdest taste in
wrestlers, and that’s why I am a HUGE fan of the Beer Swilling, Cane
Swinging, Hardcore icon known as The Sandman!
When ECW went pop, Sandman pretty much disappeared of the
face of the earth, at one point I heard that he was selling himself on EBAY!
(No not that way you sick freaks), A sad turn in the life for a man who was
so popular in his days in ECW.
Then after a bit I discovered that he was in the XPW
Wrestling promotion, so I started to follow the career of the Sandman again!
So all was good, but he was in a feud with the tubby Pogo the Clown & a
storyline strangely similar to the Raven, Lori Fullington & Sandman feud
back in ECW.
But after reading the latest NWA-TNA report, probably the
biggest wrestling promotion in USA now after the WWE, The Sandman made his
Debut AND will start a feud with Raven!!!! Oh Happy Happy Joy Joy! If only
we could get NWA-TNA in this country I would be oh so happy! It is good to
see Sandman back on a Mainstream wrestling promotion again; he has one of
the best minds in the business IMO and will be of great value to the NWA-TNA
on screen & off screen.
He has lost a lot of weight though I noticed! Been cutting
back on the old Chicken Nuggets and Pork chops I guess!
WELCOME BACK SANDMAN!!! YAY!!! So to celebrate the Sandman’s
return! Again if you have your bud can beside you smack it on your head 4
time’s in respect to his return!!! , I have a bottle of Smirnoff, so instead
ill smack this on my head!, here we go *SMACK*
‘2 HOURS LATER’
Oooo! OW! Hmm, best not to smack a glass bottle on your head,
knocks you out cold and leaves you with 5 less pints of blood! So that’s my
Shibby tip of the week! DON’T HIT BOTTLES ON YOUR HEAD! IT’S SILLY!
Undertaker :
Right where was I, oh yeah, When Taker made his return at the
Royal Rumble, most people where saying, oh great Taker, he will get a Title
shot at No Way Out, he will take up all the TV time on Smackdown and will be
generally crap.
Well, I hope those people who said that are eating there
words now, since his return, he has played a VERY low key role on Smackdown,
taking a back seat for the major story lines of Team Angle Vs Benoit, Lesnar
& Edge and of cause Hogan Vs Rock II.
Funny that this hasn’t been mentioned anyway, but when Taker
does get thrown back into the spotlight, you can bet the Taker haters will
be out in force again having a go at him saying he doesn’t deserve it etc
etc.
Taker & Heyman are doing a good job of the Big Show Vs Taker
feud. We all know the match is probably gonna suck in the end, but with
Taker & Heymans experience of wrestling, at least they are making the build
up good, even though it is getting little TV time.
Also I must say, Taker’s new red T-Shirt is very smashing! I
wouldn’t mind owning one showing my support to the Deadman! Must pop on
shopzone later and order one, even though its £10 for shipping charge! Pff!!
Damn Margaret Thatcher! I blame her.
Curt Hennig – Mr Perfect :
All joking aside, it has been a sad week in the wrestling
world with the passing of one of the all time greats of his generation, Curt
‘Mr Perfect’ Hennig.
When ever you see a poll on wrestling forums or where ever,
and the question is, “who is the greatest wrestler never to win the WWF
world Championship?”, Mr Perfect was always high at the top of most people’s
lists. He was a truly great wrestler who had no problem putting over new
talent and helping the new guys in the business.
One of the greatest Intercontinental Champion’s in the
history of the WWE, and also one of its best personalities.
It was nice seeing Mr Perfect return at last years Royal
Rumble and put on a great performance, and also got to see the Perfectplex
as well, which is always good.
It was sad the WWE couldn’t find any storyline for him, a
feud with Austin would have been good, but that only lasted one match. Still
it was good while it lasted and he later appeared in the NWA – TNA
Promotion.
R.I.P Curt, you will be missed.

Tommy Dreamer : It was an INSULT! To see a man so Talented lose to an
assclown like Batista, Dreamer has more talent in his finger than Batista
could ever dream off! Good on Tommy though putting over talent!

Goldust : NO! Poor Goldie! Electrocuted! And the end of BookDust! Oh they
where good!

D’lo Brown : Oh well, looks like it may be the end of Theodore Long!

Randy Orton’s Cheap Pants : He should really shop at Burton! Their crotches
are sewn much better than his cheap stuff.

Booker T : The push begins!

HHH : Doesn’t he have nice long hair! Looks like a cool Movie star! Like
Steven Segal, cept with a big nose.

Eric Bischoff : Thank god he wasn’t fired as GM, the guy IS raw!

Jeff Hardy : His match with Jericho was great, his body paint though! Jesus
mate! Pack it in! you looked like a Cheap 70’s Bad guy from Dr Who or Bertie
Basset on speed.

Old Guy on Raw : who was that old guy waving on Raw with his kids? I’m sure
the camera man mistook him for someone famous.

Edge : Read that his push may be derailed! But rude, just as I’m starting to
like him!
